אַךְ אֶת־זֶה לֹא תֹאכְלוּ מִמַּעֲלֵי הַגֵּרָה וּמִמַּפְרִיסֵי הַפַּרְסָה הַשְּׁסוּעָה אֶת־הַגָּמָל וְאֶת־הָאַרְנֶבֶת וְאֶת־הַשָּׁפָן כִּי־מַעֲלֵה גֵרָה הֵמָּה וּפַרְסָה לֹא הִפְרִיסוּ טְמֵאִים הֵם לָכֶם׃

"Nevertheless, you are not to eat of these among those which chew the cud, or among those that divide the hoof in two: the camel and the rabbit and the shaphan, for though they chew the cud, they do not divide the hoof; they are unclean for you.

利 未 記 11:3 凡 蹄 分 兩 瓣 、 倒 嚼 的 走 獸 ， 你 們 都 可 以 吃 。
利 未 記 11:5 沙 番 ─ 因 為 倒 嚼 不 分 蹄 ， 就 與 你 們 不 潔 淨 ；

申 命 記 14:8 豬 ─ 因 為 是 分 蹄 卻 不 倒 嚼 ， 就 與 你 們 不 潔 淨 。 這 些 獸 的 肉 ， 你 們 不 可 吃 ， 死 的 也 不 可 摸 。
